El Amor Brujo

El Amor Brujo (Love, the Magician) is the original masterpiece of renowned composer Manuel de Falla. It tells the story of Candelas, a young widowed gypsy tormented by the ghost of her late husband and her struggle to adapt to a new life.

Siudy Garrido’s extended new edition integrates flamenco music by Spanish guitarist, José Luis de la Paz and choreographic work by Garrido’s dance company.

Maestra Sebrina Maria Alfonso masterfully conducts the South Florida Symphony, bringing the audience closer to the flamenco colors that Falla was passionate about.
